Alan Pike

Alan Pike who works for the Centre for Crisis Psychology, was hired by Mark Warner and flew out on the 4th May 2007 to assist the McCann couple.

Alan Pike gained a BA (Hons) Social Science, Psychology from Manchester Metropolitan University (1986-1989). From 1999 to 2004 he worked as a Child Protection Social Worker in South Manchester local authority. In 2004 he joined the Centre for Crisis Psychology as a trauma Consultant.

Alan Pike is often referred to as a psychologist but he does not have qualifications as a Psychologist. Curiously, there is no record of Alan Pike being registered as a Social Worker on Health & Care Professionals Council or on British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy

On his LinkedIn profile Alan Pike states having worked as a Clinical Consultant for the Centre for Crisis Psychology as a Clinical Consultant from 2004 - 2005. However, it is not known, whether he has any clinical qualifications.
